A delegation of six British parliamentarians travelled to Colombia to meet with members of Congress, government officials and civil society representatives, and to learn more about Colombia's recent progress.
Conservative MP Greg Hands was the head of the delegation, which included Baroness Meacher and Baroness Miller, and Labour MPs Diane Johnson and John Mann.
During the visit the delegation met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs (e), Monica Lanzetta to discuss different issues of the bilateral and international agenda, such as Colombia's Sustainable Development goals proposal, among others.
The delegation also spent a day in the Colombian Congress where they met the Presidents of the Senate and Chamber of Representatives, Roy Barreras and Augusto Posada, and leaders of the different political parties of the country.
They also had the opportunity to meet the Women's parliamentary committe and address the plenary session of both chambers.
