Designer Silvia Quintanilla, part of the Milan-based creative duo Carnovsky has been awarded Best Wallpaper for La Selva print at the 8th Wallpaper* Design Awards.

Described by the judges as huge in ambition and vast in scope, their prints, explore depth within a surface by layering three patterns over top of each other.

As each layer is printed completely red, green or blue making the overlapping of imagery striking, the work really comes to life when the individual layers are revealed through projection of light.
